Venue
Location
The school will be held at ETH Zurich Campus Hönggerberg. The lectures & excercises, the poster session, lunches and coffee breaks will take place in the HCI building, Vladimir-Prelog-Weg 1-5/10, 8093 Zürich.
Lunch
Lunch will be offered in the restaurant of the HCI building located on the F-floor. A menu of your choice and one soft drink is complimentery. Tables are reserved in the restaurant for school participants.
Important: it is required to show your school badge to the cashier. If you forget or loose your badge, please come to the school office (HCI-building, J8) before the beginning of the first lecture in the morning or send an email to .
Coffee breaks
Coffee, drinks and croissants/fruits are available during the coffee breaks on the J-floor of the HCI building.
Internet
Access to WLAN internet is available on the ETH campus for school participants.To access wireless LAN follow these steps:
- Connect to access point "public"
- Open a browser, you will be guided to a login site
- Login name and password will be handed out at the registration
Moreover eduroam will work on the access points "public" and "EDUROAM"

Slides, lecture notes and the homework will be made available on the Lecture material website.
Posters
Poster session - Tuesday late afternoon, between 17:00 to 19:00 is reserved for the poster session. The size of the poster board is A0 (upright format).
Setting up and removing - posters will be up for the full duration of the school on the J-floor of the HCI building. Posters may be put up at any time on Monday and must be removed before 17:00 on Friday. Pins will be provided in the poster area. All poster boards are numbered, please check the number of your poster on the program website.
Lab tours (Monday 17:30 to 19:00 & Thursday 16:15 to 17:45)
Social program
School Dinner (Tuesday 20:00)
The School dinner will take place at restaurant Le Dézaley, external pageRömergasse 7+9, 8001 Zürich. The restaurant can be reached by public transport. For directions see the Transportation website.
Zurich Walking Tour (Wednesday 17:00, Meeting point: Paradeplatz, in front of Credit Suisse)
If you would like to discover Zurich or learn something about the old town's history whilst enjoying its sweet tooth you can either participate in the "Zurich downtown walking tour" or in the "Chocolate and sweets walking tour of Zurich's old town". Closing Ceremony & Barbecue (Thursday 18:00)
The Closing Ceremony will take place in the external pageAlumni Lounge, a student Café on the campus. The Closing Ceremony will be combined with a reception with drinks and snacks and will be followed by a barbecue. The Almuni Lounge is located in the HIL building,Stefano-Franscini-Platz 5,8093 Zürich.
Pub Crawl (Friday evening)
ZVV-Ticket for public transport
A ZVV multiple day pass (6*24 hours) valid for the city of Zurich (zone 110) is provided to the participants from TU Delft, TU Chalmers and RWTH Aachen for free. You will receive the multiple day pass when you check in at hotel IBIS. If you are < 25 years old you will recieve a junior multiple day pass (CHF 34.40), if you are ≥ 25 years old you will receive a "normal" multiple day pass (CHF 46.40). Please check if you obtained the correct multiple day pass. Additional tickets can be purchased from automatic ticket machines or at a ticket office.
